Dear government, It's no good telling people to get off their asses and find work, when there is no work

If there were more jobs, these people wouldn't have reason to riot. If there was more help for the poor, these people wouldn't have reason to riot. If the socialist system was carried out, these people wouldn't have reason to riot.
If the Britain that you all love so much, was really a fair and wonderful country
These people wouldn't have reason to riot.

When you cut facilities, slash jobs, abuse power, discriminate, drive people into deeper poverty shoot people dead whilst refusing to provide answers or justice, the people will rise up & express their own anger & frustration if you refuse to hear their cries. A riot is the language of the unheard.” - Martin Luther King

I’m guessing 2/10 people are doing what they’re doing because of the governments mistakes; the rest will all just be jumping on the bandwaggon and going the wrong way about it and ruining peoples, while ruining lives in the process. That is NOT what the protest is about.

I don't feel sorry for big places, I feel sorry for the buisness’ that have worked their way up through families, the people that have worked their arses off only to have everything ruined for them by some uneducated, thick, ridiculous idiots who don’t even understand what they’re supposed to be standing up for.

The police have become the governments own army. Since when was shooting people, firing gunshots in tottenham, raising batons to women carrying babies ‘just doing their jobs?’ not everything they do is right. NEVER forget that EVERYTHING Hitler did was legal. legal doesn’t mean it’s right.

There won’t be change if we don’t keep fighting for it.they’ve heard what we have to say and they don’t care, because aslong as they’re getting all the profit they need, and we’re sharing all their debt, that’s all that matters to them. We’re working to pay for the mess THEY created. If they don’t want to listen to what we have to say after putting us through all of this, that’s their own problem. We tried it the nice way, look where it got us as a country.

I totally agree with you! Max respect.

think i just fell in love.

exactly! i'm glad someone else seems to understand my point of view. it's stupid, our government spends 5 BILLION a year ...on the war in afghan. an unwinnable war. there are people in this country who have NOTHING and some people who don't deserve it who have everything. it's a pisstake.

there's a quote from someone interviewed on the BBC regarding the same matter.
"“We created a society where football players and fashion models are astronomically paid, constantly flaunt their wealth and behave as they please, and are treated as gods in the media. This leads young people to aspire to fame and wealth. But instead receive unemployment, poverty and an uncertain future. and now we are surprised when they rebel?"

i've probably made some of these points before hand on the forum seriously;
home the homeless, feed the hungry. supply the people who simply don't have enough, while people who have more than they will EVER need run around and rub it in everyone elses faces. that's ALL most people are asking from the government. is it really that hard for them to understand?

it's always been, and always will be the same unless people act on what they believe. and if the government keep ignoring peaceful protests, keep ignoring petitions, and keep ignoring marches, this is going to happen again and again and again.

take that night in tottenham for example. 100 odd people showing a peaceful protest outside of a police station, 10,000 people marching to 'get the troops out' people marching the greens, etc etc etc etc...no cameras, no helicopters, police point blank REFUSING to come and give answers..nobody cares. a riot blows out and people shit on camerons empire, and now this.

it takes people doing DAMAGE to the government to get ANY reaction, and when we do get a reaction? they still DON'T listen to the underlying reasons. they simply go on about the fact 'this has damaged this building and done this to this persons life etc' and while i agree that people shouldnt be victims of this, he's making excuses to NOT listen. which shows the government are just in it for themselves, it is fucking ridiculous.

I totally agree with you! Finally, someone who's talking sense.

Also, people need to be aware that fascists in the BNP are using this to their advantage, blaming the 'multiculturalism of Britain' for these riots.

If you believe everything you hear on FaceBook, or in the Newspapers, and don't keep an open mind, then you are just another sheep for the government.
The press is constantly looking for scapegoats to blame for things, rather than blame the government. They managed it with the student riots and are doing it again now.

exactly, the government were refering to the students as 'thugs' too, as if they didn't have a reason to be pissed off!

i may be wrong too, but the footage being shown from Manchester yesterday of the 'community helping police' and blahblahblah..the group of people were 2-300 males, with english flags, singing 'we love you england, we do' how on earth have the government not picked up on this?!
